On Friday afternoon (the 14th of May), we were finally given our freedom, and while all the others headed for the airport, I headed for the parking lot!

A most curious looking waiter at the Art Institute.  I wish I had known, I would have walked over for dinner one night!
On the road again, the weather heading East wasn't too bad.  A few sprinkles, and one thunder storm I sat out in a Dairy Queen truck stop.  Motorcycle tires do not protect you against lightning!
